Mortician had a hilarious response for woman who wanted to get her hair done

A mortician had some choice words for a woman who said she needed to get her hair done during the coronavirus pandemic.

The exchange – which has since gone viral – began after Virginia-based Patrina Felts commented on a Facebook post saying that she does ‘hair, nails and makeup every day except Sunday’ and the ‘virus has business booming’.

Another Facebook user commented below saying that they needed to get their hair done and asked where Patrina was from – presumably assuming that she worked in the beauty industry.

Patrina’s responce was, erm, to die for.

‘I’m a mortician,’ she wrote. ‘Want an appointment? Keep going outside.’

She added: ‘Stay home, sis. You’re more beautiful alive than dead.’

Couldn’t have put it better ourselves!

The various lockdown and social distancing measures implemented all over the world have been put in place to help keep people safe and keep healthcare systems from being overwhelmed by Covid-19 patients by slowing the spread of the virus.

However in several American states, including Virginia, there have been protests against the lockdown measures which demonstrators feel are too stringent.

The protests notwithstanding, Virginia’s lockdown persists and the rules stipulate that entertainment and recreation businesses need to shut and people should only leave their homes for work or to see to essential needs.

Having the wrong haircut might feel like the end of the world at times, but going out and getting your hair done doesn’t sound much like an essential need to us…
